Triund is Situated in the majestic valley of Dhauladhar. Triund trek is the most commonly known trek in Dharamshala of Himachal Pradesh. Triund Trek starts from Dharamkot Village.  

Triund Trek is most popularly known as the weekend trek from Delhi and Chandigarh. 

The trail of the Triund trek is short and most beautiful. While trekking you will go through rhododendron and oak trees. While Trekking you see the snow capped mountains throughout the trail. 

Best time to Visit Triund Trek -

Triund Trek is open all year with different views in different seasons. But in monsoon, the Triund trek is not advised by the Authority because of sudden weather changes. The Best Time To Visit Triund Trek is After the Monsoon and After 1st Snowfall in December month. Summer is also the best time to Triund trek.

The Best Way to Reach Dharamshala (Starting Point) 

By Bus - For Dharamshala, there is good connectivity of buses from Delhi, Chandigarh, Pathankot, Jalandhar etc. 

By Train - The Nearest railway station is Kangra Railway Station (Small Gauge Railway Line), Pathankot Railway Station is the second nearest railway station for the Triund trek 

By Flight - Kangra Airport (Gaggal) is the Nearest airport for the Triund Trek.

Dharamshala International Cricket Stadium - 

The cricket stadium in Dharamshala is the most beautiful in the world. This cricket stadium is managed by HPCA. While visiting the Cricket stadium you can take a view of snow capped Dhauladhar mountains.

Bhagsu Temple & Waterfall - 

Bhagsu temple is devoted to Lord Shiva, a waterfall which is also in the name of Bhagsu Devta. The height of the Bhagsu waterfall is around 20 meters and is a Famous Picnic spot for all tourists. 

Nechung Monastery 

Nechung Monastery is also known as Tibetan Monastery in Mcleod Ganj, this Monastery is also known as the Home of Holy Dalai Lama. In Nechung Monastery Tibetan Museum & Tibetan Library is Located.

The Naddi Village is the Most Beautiful village in this valley, Naddi Sunset View Point where you can enjoy the sunset.
